Production Design and Art Direction

Alston Work Studio provides a comprehensive service in Production Design, Art Direction, and Set Building, delivering high-quality, cohesive results. Co-founders Francesca and Claudia share a deep passion for design - Francesca, with a background in Fine Art, brings expertise in installations and set dressing, while Claudia’s experience adds depth and vision to each project. Our skilled carpenters, Daniele and Roberto, bring exceptional precision to their work, maintaining high standards even in fast-paced environments. Having collaborated closely for years, our team operates with a strong foundation of mutual respect and friendship, making us a tight and reliable team to work with.

Costume Design and Styling

Alston Work Studio offers bespoke costume design and styling services, bringing characters to life with exceptional attention to detail. Co-founder Claudia Gusella, trained in womenswear fashion design at Central Saint Martins, brings expert knowledge of fabrics and materials. Her final degree show was featured in leading publications including Vogue, The New York Times, and i-D. Both Claudia and Francesca are passionate about styling for diverse body types, with particular expertise in curvy styling, ensuring each piece is beautifully crafted and thoughtfully tailored to the individual.

Hand painted Backdrops and Props

At Alston Work Studio, we create hand-painted backdrops and custom props, crafted by our in-house prop masters and skilled carpenters. From concept to final touch, we bring your vision to life with precision and artistry.
